Roundup Information for all Students

ROUNDUP INFORMATION 

 Dear Irvine High School Families,

We are all eager and excited for the new school year! As we get closer to our first day of school, we wanted to share with you that Roundup begins next week!

Seniors: August 8th, Juniors: August 9th, Sophomores: August 12th, Freshmen: August 13th

We ask that all students follow the time that they have been designated below based on last names. Our Roundup event will give students the opportunity to submit any important paperwork, get their identification cards, textbooks, etc.

Parents, please start the process by clicking HERE for instructions to complete the Parent Data Confirmation and visit www.myiusd.org. Remember, parents must use their Aeries account login information in order to successfully complete this step (student Aeries login information will not work). This MUST be completed before the Roundup date in order for students to take part in the event. 

As a reminder, each IUSD family must annually complete the residency verification process. This can be completed on the Parent Data Confirmation process. If you have NOT moved, you will fill out and submit the residency affidavit only. If you HAVE moved, you must fill out the residency affidavit and submit two proofs of residency directly to Mrs. Russell in the upstairs office of the Student Center Building or email temirussell@iusd.org

Please be sure to PRINT, SIGN, and BRING the "Ticket to Roundup" form with you to Roundup.

A-C        8:30 – 9:00

D-H       9:00 – 9:30

I-L       9:30 – 10:00

M-O     10:00 – 10:30

P-S     10:30 – 11:00

T-Z      11:00 – 11:30 (note: Roundup will conclude at 11:30am)

Freshmen in Marching Band, Color Guard, Cheer, Volunteers  8:00 - 8:30 

A-B        8:30 – 9:00

C-E       9:00 – 9:30

F-J       9:30 – 10:00

K-L     10:00 – 10:30

M-N     12:30 – 1:00

O-R       1:00 – 1:30

S-T     1:30 – 2:00

U-Z     2:00 – 2:30 (note: Roundup will conclude at 2:30pm)

ROUNDUP PARKING/LOCATION:

Parking is located in the Back Parking lot located off of Escolar Street. Roundup will take place in the Humanities Building with the first station located nearest the Unified Arts Building. 

OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION: 

Various programs at Irvine High School are requesting donations for the school year.  Please know that a donation is not required to participate, and families that choose to contribute may do so in any amount.  While state law does not allow school districts to charge fees to students for educational activities, these programs rely on financial contributions from participating families. Please note that a separate payment will be required for purchases and donations.

As you go through the online Parent Data Confirmation process, you will also find information about PTSA membership and Athletic Boosters. To help make this an unforgettable year for all Irvine students, we ask that you please support the efforts of these important parent groups.  The support and efforts of our parents have been essential in helping Irvine High School maintain its stellar reputation.  Please sign up and help us reach 100% membership in the PTSA this year.  Thank you in advance for your support.  Please, also note that the Irvine Public Schools Foundation as well welcomes your participation.  The Foundation has been instrumental in supporting our music programs, class size reduction, health office clerks, Counseling program, Certified Athletic Trainer, and intervention programs throughout the district.  It is largely due to the support of these great organizations that we are able to see continual improvement in our mission to provide our students with the best educational experience we can envision. 

Students will receive a tentative copy of their courses at roundup during the “Roundup” process.  On Monday, August 19th after 5pm, students will be able to view their schedule of classes in their student portal.  The first day of school is Tuesday, August 20th.
