Parking Lot Procedures

Students must complete the following:

• Complete the online Parking Permit Application.
• Print and complete the Irvine High School Parking Permit Information & Regulations Form.
• Pay for the Parking Permit at the Web Store online (starting August 1st) or at the Spur Shop once school is in session. 
  • Permits are $50.00 for the entire school year ($45.00 if you purchase an ASB card).
  • Collect a receipt that shows you have paid for the Parking Permit. 
• Provide Campus Security with your Irvine High School Parking Permit Information & Regulations Form and copy of your receipt.
• Attend Smart Start Class (you may attend Smart Start at any time once you are a Junior or Senior).

Designated Visitor Parking is located in the Back Parking Lot (upon entry of the lot facing Escolar Street). If you are unable to park in a designated space, please retrieve a temporary parking permit from the Main Office. Vehicles that do not have a permit are subject to citation by the Irvine Police Department. 

For Parking in the Front Parking Lot (located on Walnut)

• Staff Parking and Woollett Parking ONLY. 
• Do not park in designated Staff Parking w/o a Staff Parking Sticker.
• Do not park in Aquatics Center Parking area.
• Do not park in designated Booster and Irvine PD spaces.

For Parking in the Back Parking Lot (located off of Escolar at the back of school)

• A student parking permit is required, park in unmarked spaces.
• Do not park in designated Staff Parking w/o a Staff Parking Sticker
• Do not park in designated Handicap Parking areas or EV parking if you do not have an EV. 
• Do not block buses from making a drop off or pick up.
• Do not access the service road to the gym and/or stadium w/o school permission.

For Parking on Escolar (located on the side of school)

• No Permit required.
• Park only in marked spaces.
   

IMPORTANT: 

• Parking on IHS campus without a valid parking permit/temporary parking permit, or students parking in staff or visitor spaces may be issued a citation from the Irvine Police Department. 
• Violators’ cars may be towed away at owner’s expense.
• Absolutely no loitering is allowed by any Irvine High School student in parking lots.
• Students found loitering are subject to school disciplinary action, which may also include parking permit revocation.

Students that wish to park their E-Vehicle such as E-Bikes or E-Scooters on campus must have attended a mandatory Irvine Police Department Safety Training. Students would then have received an E-Vehicle sticker to place on the handlebars of their E-Vehicle.
