Fashion Design introduces students to the fundamentals of clothing design, including sketching, cutting, draping, and stitching. The course also explores historical and cultural influences on fashion. Advanced Fashion Design offers UC Fine Arts and CTE credits, providing hands-on experience in areas such as sewing, pattern making, illustration, and photography. Students create a portfolio and participate in a production to showcase their designs. The program prepares students for careers in the fashion industry, developing technical, creative, and professional skills for future opportunities in retail, internships, and college programs.
