Dual Enrollment

IVC Dual Enrollment Classes for the 2022-23 School Year

Irvine Unified School District and Irvine Valley College are partnering to offer Dual Enrollment courses to IUSD students during the 2022-23 School Year.

Fall Courses: ASL 21 (at Irvine HS during the bell), Japanese 1, Communication Fundamentals, Biochemistry for Health Sciences, Intro to Business, Intro to PC Applications, and Data Analytics Fundamentals.

Spring Courses: Japanese II, Argumentation and Debate, Introduction to Biotechnology, Entrepreneurship: Managing your Business,Spreadsheets, Data Analytics and Design, and ASL 22 (online).

For ASL 21 (Beginning American Sign Language), students must add to their Irvine High course requests prior to May 6th.

What is Dual Enrollment?

  • IVC classes offered on IUSD campuses either during the school day, online or after school
  • IVC courses taught by IVC professors
  • Courses that allow high school students to earn college credit, many courses transferable to both UC and CSU.  Students will start their college transcript with these courses.
